SMALL CLAIMS COURT: If you would like to commence a law suit to recover a sum of money which is less than $25,000.00, we can prepare a Plaintiff’s claim and file it in the Small Claims Court.
SUPERIOR COURT: If your claim is for an amount which is more than $25,000.00 but less than $100,000.00, we can prepare a Statement of Claim for you and file it in the Superior Court in the Simplified Procedure, which progresses faster. However, if your claim is for more than $100,000.00, we will still file it in the Superior Court but not in Simplified Procedure.
If you have been served with a Statement of Claim filed either in the Small Claims Court or in the Superior Court, we can defend your case for you and file a Statement of Defence. However, please keep in mind that there are strict deadlines to be followed and any delay in seeking legal help or retaining counsel can have disastrous consequences and a Court Order can be issued against you.
